Born in Vereeniging, South Africa and raised in Sydney Australia, Dylan Christian Nuttall’s natural talents in performing arts became increasingly evident in his first hit production The Seussical, where he played JoJo at
age 14.
Dylan knew then that he had discovered his passion, and purpose. He has since devoted his life to honing his craft and abilities. While studying with a scholarship at performing arts high school “The McDonald College”, Dylan received the Acting Award and became Acting Captain.
He featured in commercials for Samsung and played Kev in “0-0-0” that screened in Sydney’s underground film festival.
Moreover, Dylan’s creative journey began flourishing in the role of the Pneumothorax Guy in “Doctor Doctor”, which aired on Channel 9 in the season finale episode.
This screen time, combined with his hunger for excellence, inspired Dylan on to move to Los Angeles, where he was awarded another scholarship to study a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Whilst studying, Dylan has starred in the award-winning short, “Departure”, a touching story that expresses the complexities of suicide. It was screened in the Santa Monica Film Festival, “Cinema Italian style”.
Dylan’s diverse range skills are constantly evolving and being developed. From combat fighting to his musical talents as a singer and guitarist, he is also in a company led by Suzanne Kent, an original founder of The Groundlings, and is being trained in the art of improvisation.
“That feeling of lighting up, of being fully alive when I’m performing, and knowing I can be a part of telling stories that can entertain, but also make a positive difference in people’s lives is why I do what I do,” says Dylan.
Dylan is an advocate for nature conservation. He enjoys parkour, snowboarding, wakeboarding, motorbike riding, surfing, shooting, soccer, ice-skating, fishing and horse riding.
